Healthy Summer Skin

since we are literally burning in Dubai i thought i should say something about how to avoid the horrible sun damage in this weather. Most sun experts say that the sun is the worst skin enemy and actually 80% of the singes people mistake as aging its actually sun damage . but what is the right way to avoid sun damage ??!!

A little dab won't do you. You want to shield yourself from the sun, but how much sunscreen is enough? "Think of those small paper cups used for holding ketchup at fast-food restaurants," says Atlanta-based skincare specialist Alison O'Neil Andrew, B.S., M.E., A.R.S., president of Health Aesthetic Consultants. "That's the amount of sunscreen that should be used." Rub on 30 minutes before sun exposure and again every 90 minutes. Even water-resistant sunscreens can be rubbed away when toweling off after a swim, so be sure to reapply.

Foot Mask ??

The foot is packed full of nerve endings and for a body part that literally carries the weight of the world on its small frame, they deserve a little love and affection from time to time. A nourishing foot mask can help to soothe dry, cracked heels, smooth away calloused toes and foot pads and even repair weak nails. The ingredients in this foot mask recipe remove dead skin cells while gently exfoliating. This foot mask can be left on overnight for a truly healing effect.

Things You'll Need

·         1/4 cup almonds
·         1/4 cup oatmeal
·         3 tbsp cocoa butter (food grade)
·         2 tbsp honey
·         Food processor
·         Small bowl
·         Plastic wrap
·         Clean socks
·         Towel

Instructions

1.    In a food processor, pulse the almonds and oatmeal into a fine powder. Set it aside.

2.    In a bowl, combine cocoa butter and honey until it is smooth.

3.    Add the butter and honey mixture to the food processor and blend for one minute, or until the mixture is a smooth paste.

4.    Wash your feet and pat dry before applying the mask. For maximum results your skin should be clean and dry before applying any kind of beuaty mask.

5.    Apply the mask to clean feet, wrap loosely with elastic wrap and put on a pair of clean socks. Let the mask penetrate for thirty minutes to an hour or you can leave the mask on overnight.

6.    Remove the mask. Once the mask has set for the desired time, remove the socks and plastic wrap, rinse your feet with warm water and pat dry. Immediately follow this by slathering your feet with a thick foot cream or lotion.

Oh No They Didn't

Move over Naomi, there's a new diva in town

Naomi Campbell is on rage because of Cadbury’s new ad.The ad featured a photo of the Cadbury Dairy Milk Bliss sitting on a pile of diamonds below the slogan "Move over Naomi, there's a new diva in town."
A spokesman for Cadbury told CNN Tuesday the chocolate maker never intended "to cause any offense and the campaign itself is a light-hearted take on the social pretensions of Cadbury Dairy Milk Bliss."
Campbell, in a written statement sent to CNN Tuesday, said she was shocked.
"It's upsetting to be described as chocolate, not just for me, but for all black women and black people as a race," Campbell said. "I do not find any humour in this, it is insulting and hurtful."
While she would not confirm online reports that she would call for a boycott of Cadbury products, she did say, "I am considering every option available to me."
Cadbury spokeswoman Samantha Wothers said the ad was pulled before Campbell's complaint and that the Dairy Milk Bliss campaign would end this week.
"Cadbury takes its responsibility very seriously indeed and we would never produce any marketing activity we felt might cause offense to any section of society," Wothers said.

what do u think ? should she sue them or is it a bad excuse to use the racist card ?
